Ubuntu上安装Sphinx

本文讲解在Ubuntu上安装Sphinx的过程。

1、从Sphinx官网下载最新的源码 http://sphinxsearch.com

2、安装文档 http://sphinxsearch.com/docs/archives/1.10/installing.html

3、安装过程可能遇见的错误

  （1）MySQL include files... configure: error: missing include files.
  （2）configure: error: invalid MySQL root directory '/usr/bin'; neither bin/mysql_config, nor include/ and lib/ were found there

上面两个提示都是一个错误导致的。解决：

   （1）安装libmysqlclient-dev
    
    $sudo apt-get install libmysqlclient-dev
   
   （2）查看mysql_config位置
    
    $which mysql_config     （我的是/usr/bin/mysql_config）
   
   （3）安装Sphinx
   
    $sudo ./configure --prefix=/usr/local/sphinx --with-mysql=/usr

    $sudo make
   
    $sudo make install
